of orchids. We specialize in the needs of home growers and
hobbyists.

Speaker: Michael Coronado
Topic:
Vanda culture
Michael A. Coronado is Vice President of R.F. Orchids,
Inc., in charge of growing and hybridizing. He’s been
with the firm since he was 13 years old!
Mike has traveled extensively around the world to keep
abreast of the newest trends in orchid hybridizing, including
the nursery’s specialty, vandaceous orchids. Mike
has also participated in many domestic and international
orchid shows including several World Orchid Conferences
and the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show, and is
an accredited American Orchid Society Judge.
Located in Homestead, Florida R.F. is world-famous
for its high quality, award-winning plants. Their Vanda
breeding programs have produced some truly amazing
flowers, many of them FCC winners.
